The Headliner terms

The Headliner is a paid feature by Retail People Magazine, a publication of the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres & Retailers (MECSR). It includes an editorial profile written from the details you provide and a magazine-cover style design built around your photo.

The Headliner is a digital feature. It is published online only and is not part of the printed Retail People Magazine.

Your feature is published on MECSR's LinkedIn page, with you and your company tagged where the platform allows, and on our Instagram, Facebook and X (Twitter) channels.

Prices are shown in US dollars and are confirmed on the checkout page before you pay. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout, even if the advertised price changes later.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. The Headliner is a one-time payment, not a subscription.

After payment you will receive a private link to submit your details, bio and photo. Please make sure everything you submit is accurate and that your photo shows only you.

By submitting, you confirm that you own the rights to the photo or have permission to use it, and that you consent to Retail People Magazine and MECSR publishing your photo, name and bio as described in these terms.

We may edit your text for length, clarity and style, and adjust your photo (for example removing the background) to fit the design.

Our editorial team reviews every feature before it is published. We publish once your feature meets our editorial standards, and the exact publication date is at our discretion.

Your feature is written and designed from the details, bio and photo you submit. Because it is based on your own information, it is not sent to you for approval before publication. By submitting, you confirm your details are accurate and agree to publication without a separate approval step.

We may decline to publish content that is inaccurate, misleading, offensive or that infringes the rights of others. If this happens, we will contact you.

Please check your details carefully before submitting, as your feature goes into production straight away.

Payments are non-refundable once made.

If you purchase the Featured on our website add-on, your profile page and a place in our Featured Headliners carousel are live for the period you chose (1 week or 1 month), starting from the day your feature is published.

When the period ends, your profile is removed from the carousel and your profile page is taken down.

You grant Retail People Magazine and MECSR permission to publish, share and keep your feature (including your photo, name, title, company, location and bio) on our website and social media channels, and to reference it in our own promotional materials.

Published social media posts may remain online after publication.
